It looks to be a definite trend towards Rough Guide then. I would agree with the comments but I still enjoy reading Lonely Planet's often entertaining take on things and all the budget accommodation tips. The Rough Guide is also very unkind about Hikkaduwa but that aside, it really is the better book I think and as I said before, you get a LOT more pages for your money.
